On The Trail of O'Keefe

Everyone has talent at 25. The difficulty is to have it at 50. - Edgar Degas

This is a small colorfield landscape representing a creative journey; influences of favorite artists.

It's only 12 inches square but I like it enough that I plan to do it larger. Can anyone guess by looking who some of my artist muses are

That is a lovely imaginary landscape. I feel energised just by looking at the colours, and the trail leading into the horizon.

Hello Patrice,
This painting brings the artist Gustaf Klimt to my mind. Particularly his work like "Apfelbaum" and the flowers at the bottom of "The Kiss." Your work is beautiful.

Gorgeous painting! Patrice, if you don`t know the Swiss artist Ferdinand Hodler, check him out. He`s known for his allegorical work mostly but he was an inspired landscape painter. And thank you for listing my blog. Randall
