Elvis waiting for email...
It's been over a year since I had to give up my land line/internet service (or risk not being able to pay my mortgage). At the time I thought it would be a couple of months - HA! That was in fall of 2010. But 2011 and 2012 have been kinder to me and my budget. The economy must be better as I'm getting calls for artist services once again. I was also able to refinance my property with a lower payment and no balloon, so my financial stresses are greatly reduced.
Thank you to all my followers/friends who have stuck by me. I am eager to meet and catch up with everyone so I'll be visiting each of your sites really soon.
The daffodils are blooming away!! Photos to follow...

Wow. Cool! Welcome back to the planet Earth. The 'Net is a wunnaful thing; you found me at the Banzai Pipeline. Back to Boulder in a while, but here now. Glad to hear you're up and flying again.
HOORAY! You're back! I'm sorry you had so much trouble that kept you away, but I'm really glad to see you've made it through and are back up and running. And thanks for stopping by my place to make your return known.
So glad to see you back in cyberspace :)
Oh Girlfriend! Am I ever glad to see you! Are you painting? Do tell! Tell all!
And stop by my blog and say Hi when you can.
Love & Laughter,
DJ
The economy has been brutal. Went by a BJ's Wholesale Club and an Outback restaurant that sat in front of it, both out of business. Then a Ted's 1/4 mile up the road from that, and it was closed. And these are large businesses, so for the little man, the independent, fall like dominos. Sorry for the troubles, glad you are back online. Did you ever find a better job? Or decide you like the one you got? Or are you like so many, just grateful to have one?
PS, I do hope you've found time to paint, sorry for so many economy questions, it is just great to be able to converse with real people about real situations.
Hi DJ. So good of you to stop in! I am painting and will soon post new things - so much to catch up with and not much time. Isn't that always the case?
And yes, I'll be stopping by...
Yep- I am really real! I've been painting lots of small things and am just about ready to work larger again. A mural commission helped the bank account and opening up a small shop/gallery/studio at my home has begun to garner clientele. I'd still like to find a part time job that suits my skills, but yes, glad to have any regular income!
Hey P, I am so heartbroken that you were having such a rough time :( I was in a cloud of crappy health issues during that entire time and just now things are starting to get a bit better...you might have seen my blog absence as well...it is so great to hear things are getting better for you my friend!
